Education (73%), tourism (70%) and public administration (67%) are the three sectors Romanians believe would benefit the most from technology and Internet connection, according to a study conducted by Ericsson and Cult Market Research, cited by local Hotnews.ro.

In detail, in terms of education, Romanians believe that the technology could facilitate taking distance learning classes and registering for classes with schools abroad (48%), developing some non-traditional ways of study (48%) and enabling access to educational services for more people (44%).

As for public administration, Romanians would like it to reduce bureaucracy (69%), to help releasing documents faster (60%) and allow online payment for all taxes (59%).
