The big hair's gone but the song remains the same - Mr Big lead singer to give solo concert in Romania
Eric Martin, the frontman of American rock band Mr Big, will be in Bucharest for a concert on November 14, in the True Social Club in Bucharest. Mr. Big's frontman will give a solo concert, including solo acoustic spots, in Bucharest.
Eric Martin, 56, is currently on tour, taking the famous Mr Big songs, such as Wild world and To Be With You across Europe. The band, famous in the 90s, split up in 2002 but recently reunited for a world tour. The band also released their first album in over ten years in 2011.
Mr. Big are an American rock group, formed in Los Angeles, California in 1988. The band included Eric Martin (lead vocals), Paul Gilbert (guitar), Billy Sheehan (bass guitar), and Pat Torpey (drums). Richie Kotzen replaced Gilbert in 1999.
Tickets for the Bucharest concert are RON 25 in advance and RON 30 on the door. Tickets can be bought online on www.myticket.ro. Those who have VIP passes from the VANK concert the same evening have free entrance.
