The first charity shop in Romania will be opened in the Ominis social services complex in Bucharest, which is to be inaugurated in early-June, according to the chief of the Social Assistance Directorate of the Bucharest Municipality DGASMB, Cosmina Simiean-Nicolescu, quoted by Agerpres.

“The store will run under the principle that you can choose the items that you need, whether food or non-food products, and in return do an hour of volunteer work in the complex,” she said.

The new complex will also offer other services to people without financial possibilities, including a laundry room and a clinic.
