The world renowned American musician Iggy Pop will perform for the first time in Romania on August 27, together with his band “Iggy and The Stooges”. The concert will be held during the Tuborg Green Fest Peninsula music festival that will take place between August 25 and August 28 at Targu Mures.

Iggy Pop is an 53-year old American singer, songwriter, musician, born in Muskegon, Michigan. By his real name James Newell "Jim" Osterberg, he is considered an influential innovator of punk rock, hard rock, and other styles of rock music. The artist recorded 16 solo albums, one with James Williamson, and 4 albums with his band, “Iggy and The Stooges”. Find more about the artist here.

Tickets for a day at the Tuborg Green Fest Peninsula festival can be purchased for RON 80 until August 25, and RON 100 in that day. For a 4-days subscription, prices vary between RON 169 and RON 240. Tickets can be bought from www.eventim.ro
