The Prodigy, back to Bucharest for July concert
British electronic band The Prodigy will be back for another concert in Bucharest in July this year, at the festival “Rock the City”, which will take place in the Constitution Square, near the Parliament Palace. The Prodigy, which has sold 16 million albums worldwide, is currently promoting the new album “Invaders Must Die”.
“Rock the City” Festival will take place in Bucharest between July 1 and 3 this year. Tickets for the event will be on sale in Germanos, Orange, Vodafone, Domo stores, Humanitas and Carturesti bookstores, and online at eventim.ro. Ticket prices have not yet been announced.
The Prodigy is a British electronic dance band formed by Liam Howlett in 1990 in Braintree, Essex. The members of The Prodigy have been credited as pioneers of the big beat genre which achieved mainstream popularity in 1990 and 2000. The current members include Liam Howlett (composer/keyboards), Keith Flint (dancer/vocalist), and Maxim (MC/vocalist).
The Prodigy first emerged on the underground rave scene in the early 1990, and has since achieved popularity and worldwide recognition. Some of their most popular songs include “Out of space”, “Vodoo people”, “Firestarter”, “Poison”, “Breathe”.
