Thousands attended the rally organized Sunday (October 12) in Bucharest for Romania’s union with the Republic of Moldova, reports local Mediafax.

Protesters carried flags and signs and chanted slogans, such as “Great Romania, the old boundaries” and “Russia, don’t forget, Bessarabia is not yours”.

The rally initiators have asked the presidential candidates to set Romania’s union with the Republic of Moldova among the targets during their potential presidential mandates.
