Three masked men robbed a Lidl supermarket in Bucharest in District 4 during Thursday night (February 7 to 8 ). They only stole around EUR 1,000, after having tied up the three cashiers in the supermarket.

It's early days for the the police investigation and only limited information on the incident is currently available, but more details should be released soon.

This is the second local robbery to make headlines in Romania this year, after a Danish citizen was robbed, allegedly by some of his Romanian friends, at the beginning of January.
