Tragedy continues: Three more people die after Bucharest club fire
Alexandru Pascu, the bass player of Goodbye to Gravity – the band that was playing in Colectiv club in the night of the tragic event - lost his life on Wednesday evening, November 11. He was being transferred to a clinic facility in France but died when the plane landed in Paris.
Moreover, two other victims of the nightclub fire died at Floreasca Hospital in Bucharest, bringing the death toll to 53.
Alex Pascu is the fourth band member who died after the tragic event. Guitarists Vlad Țelea and Mihai Alexandru were killed in the blaze while drummer Bogdan Enache died on November 8, while being transported to a hospital in Zurich, Switzerland.
The band's lead singer Andrei Galut is currently treated in a hospital in the Netherlands. His girlfriend, however, died on Wednesday night at the Floreasca Hospital in Bucharest.
The tragedy at Colectiv club took place on October 30 when Goodbye to Gravity was releasing a new album. Some 400 people were inside the club when the fire started, way above the safety limit, according to the investigation. 27 people died that night, and the number almost doubled in the following days.
36 victims were transferred to hospitals abroad, but eight of them lost their lives.
