'Tunnel' made of 55,000 LED lights opened in central city of Sibiu
A 40-meter-long lights tunnel made of LED was opened in the central Romanian city of Sibiu last weekend. This is the first such ' tunnel' in Romania and to build it, a team of Italians used 55,000 multi-colored LEDs.
The project was however a short-lived one, only three nights, and ended on Sunday evening, December 15. Next year, the local authorities want to build an even bigger LED tunnel.
The team of 10 Italians worked for 10 weeks to build the light tunnel, which ended up costing some EUR 20,000. This was part of a project called Sibiu Lights and More.
