Turkish fashion retailer Colin's wants to open 31 stores in Romania by end-2018
Turkish fashion retailer Colin`s opened its largest store in Romania last week and plans a fast expansion in the local market in the next two years.
The new store is located in Palas Iasi shopping mall and covers some 550 sqm. It offers casual wear for both women and men. The investment in the store hasn't been disclosed.
"Colin's came to the Romanian market directly in 2011, the store in Palas Iasi being the 9th in the country and the largest so far. By the end of 2018, we aim to have a total number of 40 stores in Romania”, said Alparslan Varol, country manager Colin's.
Thus, the retailer plans to open 31 new stores in Romania by end-2018.
The Colin's brand was established in 1983, in Turkey. At present, there are more than 600 Colin's stores operating in over 38 countries.
Turkish fashion retailers Koton and LC Waikiki have also announced expansion plans in Romania.
