Two flights of Romanian airline Tarom experience technical problems in one day
Two domestic flights of Romanian airline Tarom were cancelled due to malfunctions on the same day. Both of them were leaving from Bucharest’s Otopeni airport, with one going to Satu Mare and the other one to Iasi.
The flight to Satu Mare, which took off from the Otopeni Airport at 16:50, had to turn back to the airport after 15 minutes due to a malfunctioning landing gear, reports local Digi24.
The 33 passengers were taken over by another aircraft, which took them to Cluj-Napoca. From there, they continued their trip by bus.
Just a few hours later, the Tarom flight that was scheduled to take off at 20:35 and take the 38 passengers to Iasi, missed taking off from Otopeni Airport because of a technical problem. During running proceedings, the pilot in command felt some vibrations in one of the wheels and decided to stop the takeoff and return for checks.
In late-September this year, another Tarom flight to Amsterdam had to turn back to Bucharest after 25 minutes due to a malfunction in the air conditioning system.
