Two Romanian doctors hope corporate clients will increase revenues at their Bali Spa Cornu
Bali Spa Cornu, the spa center owned by the Romanian doctors Dana and Stefan Jianu 100 kilometers away from Bucharest, hopes to see the number of corporate clients up by 15 percent this year, after seeing increasing popularity among companies in 2012. Around 35 percent of the spa's revenues last year came from team building events and corporate meetings from companies such as OMV Petrom, Carrefour, Lafarge, BMW, Kraft.
Without disclosing the actual revenues, the owners foresee a comeback of the team building market this year and want to expand the conference and restaurant facilities with EU funding. Stefan and Dana Jianu, the two owners of Bali Spa Cornu, have high expectations from their other spa center, Bali Spa Radisson, within the five-star hotel Radisson Blu in Bucharest.
The spa at Cornu has 15 rooms and offers packages for team building events at EUR 75 per person per day, with Spa and body massage included, access to interior pool, full board, fitness and sauna, and a Bali massage a day.
Dana and Stefan Jianu opened the Cornu center in 2007, after a EUR 1.5 million investment. The 1,200 sqm spa is sited on a 5,000 sqm plot, which includes an orchard, a Japanese garden and other outdoor amenities. ProEstetica Sana, the company owned by the two doctors, also runs the Bali Spa centers. Dana Jianu is known as the aesthetic surgeon of the stars in Romania.
