Two marathons will be organized for sport fans in Romania this summer.

This year, Padina Fest and Smart Atletic Sport Club will organize Bucegilor Marathon on Padina Plateau, Bucegi Mountains.

The event will be made of two competitions, namely Trail Running and Cross-Country MTB, which are independent from each other and address all sport fans, from amateurs to experienced competitors.

The Trail Running will be organized on July 26 and will be made of two routes: a long one of 26 km and a short one of 16 km.

The Cross-Country MTB will be held the next day, on July 27, and will also consists of two routes, one with a length of 38 km and a shorter one of 29 km. More about the event here (in Romanian).

The second event is in fact the first edition of Transilvaniei Marathon and will be organized on July 12 and July 13 in Sambata de Sus, Brasov county.

The event also includes two competitions - the Trail Running and the Cross-Country MTB, each of them being made of two routes - a long one and a short one.

For the Trail Running competition, the participants can chose between the half-marathon - 21 km and the cross - 10 km. The event is organized on July 12.

The Cross-Country MTB race will be held on July 13 and will have a 22-km short route and a 44-km long route.
