Two young Romanians arrested for stealing purebred horses worth EUR 48,000
Two young Romanians from Cobadin village, in Constanta county, were arrested for 30 days, being charged with stealing five purebred horses with a total value of some EUR 48,000, according to a statement of the Romanian Police.
Police officers conducted four searches in the Conacu village on May 9, at the homes of people suspected of stealing purebred horses.
Following the searches, the police found two horses that were stolen on the night of May 3 from a riding center. Other three stolen horses were found on a field near Conacu village.
The five horses were returned to the owners, according to the police.
