UniCredit plans expansion in CEE, 300 new outlets in Romania

UniCredit plans to open 300 new bank outlets in Romania, out of a total of 900 outlets in the Central and Eastern Europe for the next five years, according to Federico Ghizzoni, the bank's delegate administrator. The bank will focus on Turkey, Romania and Hungary, according to Reuters newswire.  Ghizzoni believes Bulgaria and Romania are among the countries which require careful monitoring for the following months. The bank is active in Romania under the name UniCredit Ţiriac Bank.
