Cable & internet provider UPC Romania saw a 2.6% increase in its cable TV subscriptions in the second quarter of the year, which reached 891,900. Also, the number of users for the satellite television services rose by 32,000 during this period, to almost 345,000.

The company provided video services to 1.2 million people at the end of June, up 4.6% compared to the same period last year, reports local Ziarul Financiar.

The number of users for its landline Internet services went up by 11.2% to 512,300. Meanwhile, the number of subscriptions for landline phone services advanced by 32% to 432,900.

The provider’s total number of subscriptions reached 2.18 million at the end of June, up 10.7% year-on-year.
