US cereals producer hires another 30 in Bucharest
US multinational food producer Kellogg’s, which opened a service center in Bucharest in mid-2014, wants to hire 30 more people in its Supply Chain and Transport departments.
Last summer, Kellogg’s moved 80 jobs from Manchester to Bucharest, to decrease its costs and save money for new investments in its core business. The average salary in Bucharest amounts to EUR 400 per month, compared to EUR 2,500 in the UK, reports local Ziarul Financiar.
The Bucharest-based service center offers support for Kellogg’s European divisions in the IT, finances and distribution departments.
The company, which is headquartered in Battle Creek, Michigan, produces 23 brands of cereals, among which famous brands such as Kellogg’s Frosties and Kellogg’s Coco Pops, as well as the Pringles chips.
