Veolia Energie Romania appoints new general manager
Frederic Faroche, 49, became the general manager of Veolia Energie Romania, part of the French group Veolia, starting July 1.
Faroche has been with Veolia for 20 years and has experience in Eastern Europe’s countries, according to the company, reports local Economica.net.
Veolia Energie Romania operates the public heat distribution networks in the cities of Iasi, Ploiesti and Otopeni.
French group Veolia is active in water, waste and energy management. In 2014, the group provided drinking water for 96 million clients, sewer services for 60 million people, produced energy in over 450 heat power plants and used over 31 million tonnes of waste worldwide.
The group also controls Romanian company Apa Nova, which manages the public water distribution network in Bucharest.
