Virgil Stroia moves from Happy Tour to Bucharest Stock Exchange on Chief Financial Officer seat
Virgil Adrian Stroia will take over as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) starting September 15, 2011, according to the BVB. The position is vacant since July 27 this year, after Marcel Tanasescu resigned.
Virgil Adrian Stroia, 37, has 11 years of experience in finance and management, after working for companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Delhaize Group and Mazars. Since 2009 he held the position of CFO in the travel agency Happy Tour Group Romania, owned by investment fund GED Eastern Fund II Spain. He graduated the West University Timisoara, Faculty of Economics.
