Vlad Dumitrescu takes over as development manager for Liebrecht & wooD's Romanian branch
Vlad Dumitrescu was recently appointed development manager of the Romanian branch of the Liebrecht & wooD Group, an European commercial real estate developer, according to a company announcement.
The Liebrecht & wooD Group has been present in Romania for 15 years and during this period it delivered modern office and retail properties totaling 94,200 square meters of rentable space. The group has over 87,000 square meters of commercial space planned or currently under development in Romania.
Prior to joining the Liebrecht & wooD Group, Vlad Dumitrescu held the position of Country Development Manager for Austrian group Immofinanz, Country Manager for Prologis and Portland Trust in Romania, as well as Project Manager for Bucharest West Industrial Park, and was involved in numerous industrial, retail and office projects on the Romanian market.
He graduated from the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest and has over 15 years of management experience in real estate and sales. Vlad Dumitrescu is also the President of Managers Club Romania, the professional organization of the managers in the country.
The Liebrecht & wooD Group developed the Victoria Business Park office building with 20,500 square meters gross leasable area (GLA), Militari Shopping Centre with 77,000 square meters GLA, and Fashion House Bucharest, an outlet center with 20,200 square meters GLA, all situated in Bucharest.
Currently, the group is focusing on developing Cernica Park, a retail park on a 60-hectare plot alongside the Bucharest ring road on the A2 highway from Bucharest to Constanta. It is also considering a residential project including 2,000 units on a 180 ha plot on the outskirts of the Romanian capital.
