Vodafone Romania and Trilulilu bring digital music collection to Bucharest metro

headphonesMobile telephony operator Vodafone Romania and Trilulilu Music will launch the Zonga Music Space today (March 1), a digital collection of music grouped in 15 playlists, which will be available in the Bucharest metro stations by scanning the QR codes, as well as online at www.zonga.ro .

Those living in Bucharest will also be able to listen the Daily Song (Melodia Zilei) using Zonga on their phones in 18 metro stations, namely Victoriei Square 1 and 2, Unirii Square 1 si 2, Universitatii, Romana Square, Eroilor, Politehnica, Grozavesti, Obor, Izvor, Petrache Poenaru, Crangasi, Aviatorilor, Eroii Revolutiei, Gara de Nord, Piata Sudului, and Pipera. By scanning the QR code, the users will have access to a new song every day, from three different music genres: rock, pop and electro.

Vodafone customers can use the Zonga service free of charge in the first three months. After that, Vodafone subscribers can choose from two offers: the Zonga Vodafone package that includes unlimited music on the computer and five hours of music on the mobile phone for EUR 1.99 per month, without VAT, or the Unlimited Zonga Vodafone package - customers have unlimited music on computer or mobile phone for EUR 2.99 per month, without VAT.

The launching of Zonga Music Space will take place on March 1, 2013, at M1 Victoria metro station in Bucharest, at 16:00. Romanian bands Breeze and Tooftaff will perform during the event.

Vodafone Romania currently holds a 15 percent share in Trilulilu Music, the Romanian company which created Zonga. Trilulilu was founded in 2007 by a group of young entrepreneurs living in Cluj, led by Sergiu Biris, currently acting as company CEO.
