Vodafone, the second largest provider of mobile phone services in Romania, wants to introduce among its services the production and distribution of TV and radio programs.

The company’s shareholders decided upon this in mid-April, reports local Economica.net.

The other big telecom operators in Romania, Orange, Telekom, and RCS-RDS already provide TV services and even have created their own content.

Vodafone has about 9.1 million customers in Romania.
