Votewatch.eu: Three Romanian MEPs had no activity in the European Parliament
Romanian politicians Corneliu Vadim Tudor, Dan Zamfirescu and Ovidiu Silaghi recorded zero activity in the European Parliament, according to the data from Votewatch.eu.
The three Romanian MEPs came last because they haven’t scored in any of the categories considered by Votewatch.eu in monitoring the MEPs’ activity, including reports, draft opinions, parliamentary questions, written signed statement or signed resolution motions, reports local news agency Mediafax, quoting the website Votewatch.eu.
Six other Romanian MEPs, namely Minodora Cliveti, Vasilica Viorica Dancila, Iosif Matula, Elena Basescu, Claudiu Ciprian Tanasescu and Adrian Severin, haven’t contributed to the development of any report.
However, MEP Monica Macovei was placed fourth in the ranking on the number of reports she drafted, with some 40 reports, writes Mediafax.
In the same ranking, Silvia-Adriana Ticau is number 24th, with 10 reports, while Iuliu Winkler developed six reports, and Marian-Jean Marinescu and Sabin Cutas made five reports each.
The monitoring covers the MEPs' activity between September 14, 2009 and January 1, 2014.
