Wanna do the Charleston? Viennese Waldeck resurrect the 20s in Bucharest
Viennese band Waldeck, the musical project of Austrian musician Klaus Waldeck, will revive the sounds of the 20s, with an added electro twist, in Romania this February. The performance will be held at The Silver Church in Bucharest, on February 23, 21:00.
The Austrian met vocal collaborators Joy Malcolm and Brian Amos in 1996, and soon after produced the ‘Northern Lights’ EP, while his song ‘Aquarius’ gained him international attention. This EP was followed by another successful album, ‘Balance of The Force’, released in 1998.
Waldeck released the highly successful ‘Ballroom Stories’ album in 2007, on which he featured Austrian singer Zeebee for the first time. Find more here.
Tickets for this gig cost RON 30, on the door.
