Over a third of the medium-sized companies that moved to new headquarters in the first three months of the year chose the center-north area of Bucharest.

About 19% of them decided for the center-west area, and 19% went for downtown Bucharest, according to local real estate consultancy firm ESOP Consulting.

Overall, the volume of office transactions for the medium-sized companies rose by 15% year-on-year.

The center-north area has new office space that has been recently delivered or is about to be delivered. The center-west and the ultra-central areas of Bucharest will also catch up in the second part of the year and in 2017, as new office buildings will be delivered in these parts.
