What benefits do companies offer their employees in Romania?

Food vouchers, health insurance, and additional annual leave represent the main benefits offered by employers in Romania, according to a study carried out by consultancy Accace.

Other benefits include mobile phones, teambuilding programs, reimbursement of travel expenses, laptop, gifts for children, and training programs.

Romania is not much different from other countries in the region that took part in the study.

Czech employees receive food vouchers, mobile phones, laptops or training programs, whereas in Hungary, the benefits include food vouchers, holiday cards, and subsidy for children’s education. In Poland, employees get private health care, food vouchers, sporting activities, and company cars.
