White & Case poaches head of Petrom's litigation dept. to lead its disputes practice
Law firm White & Case has appointed litigation lawyer Paraschiva (Peggy) Şuica-Neagu as a partner to lead its Bucharest disputes practice. Peggy Şuica-Neagu has joined White & Case from OMV Petrom S.A. (formerly Petrom S.A.), where she led the litigation department.
With over 15 years of experience as a litigation lawyer, Peggy Şuica-Neagu is specialized in civil and commercial litigation, including administrative and tax, intellectual property, banking, labor and real estate. She has also worked on projects and transactions in other practice areas such as oil & gas, privatizations, banking & finance, real estate, and labor & employment.
In addition to her native Romanian, Peggy Şuica-Neagu is fluent in English and French. She received her LLB from the Bucharest Law School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Bucharest Academy of Economics, with a diploma in Planning & Cybernetics. She has been a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 1995.
The White & Case Bucharest office was established in early 2008. It offers services including corporate and commercial, employment, competition, banking and finance, energy and real estate legal services.
