The Romanian fiscal receipt lottery’s third draw took place on July 19. The winning receipts are the ones issued on June 1, with a value of RON 509.

This was the draw’s first stage. The second part will randomly select 100 out of the total number of potential winners who submit their winning receipts.

The Romanian Finance Ministry decided to split the draw in two stages and award maximum 100 prizes, after the first draw of the fiscal receipt lottery ended with too many winners.

The Finance Ministry launched a fiscal lottery to encourage consumers to ask for fiscal receipts and keep them. The first draw was on April 13, and almost 18,000 people announced they had winning receipts. The RON 1 million (EUR 225,000) prize thus split between these people, each gaining about RON 56 (EUR 12.6) in the end.
