The winter is coming in some areas of Romania, according to a weather warning issued by the National Meteorological Administration (ANM).

The warning, which mainly targets counties in the Eastern and Southern Carpathians, is in place from Monday night (Halloween night) until Tuesday, November 1, 10:00.

In this period, it will mostly snow in Suceava, Botosani, Neamt, Harghita, Covasna, Brasov counties, as well as in the mountain areas of Maramures, Bistrita-Nasaud, Mures, Sibiu, Valcea, Arges, Dambovita, Prahova, Buzau, Vrancea, and Bacau counties.

In the Eastern and Southern Carpathians, the wind will also blow strongly, with a speed of up to 70 km per hour.
