World Bank and Romania's Culture Minister discuss on future cultural center
The Culture Minister Vlad Alexandrescu met this week with the World Bank delegation to discuss the prospect of developing a multipurpose cultural center.
This would be located in the future Bucharest Justice Quarter, near National Library of Romania.
The World Bank delegation visited Bucharest on a mission that targeted urban development projects, said Alexandrescu.
The Justice Ministry has the ambitious project of building a Justice Quarter in Bucharest, a complex that would bring together various institutions of justice. The quarter would be located on the vast abandoned plot near the National Library of Romania and would also host a cultural center.
The World Bank could be a potential external financer of the future cultural center.
