Xerox expands service center in Oradea, western Romania, wants to increase staff

Xerox, one of the biggest document management companies in the world, has decided to move its services center in Oradea, western Romania, in the Trade Center Oradea office building.

Following this relocation, the company will be able to provide an optimal working space to the growing number of employees, and can also take into account further expansions, according to Robert van Diem, Senior Vice President Xerox Customer Care Operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The number of people working in the center in Oradea has increased from 35 in early-2015 to over 110 at present. Moreover, the company wants to hire 40 more specialists by the end of 2016.

The center in Oradea offers customer care services to Xerox clients active in telecommunications, tourism, and pharma industries. The employees provide services to both local and international companies, in Romanian, English, French, German, and Italian.

Xerox has been present on the local market for more than 45 years. The company has two centers in Bucharest, two in Iasi, one in Oradea, and another one in Bacau. Its total number of employees in Romania exceeds 2,300.
