The Internet company Yahoo! will organize Open Hack Europe event in Bucharest, the first in Eastern Europe, an event that brings together hundreds of hackers worldwide, on May 14 and 15 at Crystal Palace Ballrooms.  “We chose Bucharest for the European Open Hack because Romania is a hot spot for the international talented software developers and because Yahoo! has a numerous audience in this region”, said Raymie Stata, Chief Technology Officer, Yahoo!.

The event in Bucharest starts on Saturday, May 14, through a series of technical workshops, followed by a "hackathon", a non-stop 24 hours coding period. All entries will be judged on Sunday, and the best of them will be rewarded and promoted by the developers of the Yahoo! network.
