Costin Marian, a young freelance photographer from Medias, Romania, won the competition organized by tour operator Paravion.ro for the coolest job this summer.

For four months, the young photographer, aged 25, will travel to over 10 destinations such as Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and Dubai and share online pictures, videos and short stories. His dream job already started on May 25, with a first trip to Antalya.

The tourism agency will pay for all the expenses, starting with the holiday packages, the extra trips, and pocket money. The technical equipment will be provided by Quickmobile and F64, the competition’s official partners. eJobs, the largest jobs portal in Romania, also offered its support to this contest.

“My dream is to travel a lot and get the chance to collaborate with National Geographic as photographer. I consider this job a first step towards my dream and I thank Paravion.ro for this opportunity,” said the winner.

Over 300 travel aficionados from all over Romania registered in this competition that kicked off on April 15. Costin Marian won the contest with a 59-second video about Jordan, his favorite destination. Watch the video below.

However, the tour operator also prepared a surprise for the other six finalists. They will also travel to one of the most popular European capitals “to experience the coolest summer job,” said Remus Visan, managing director Paravion.ro.

Paravion is one of the largest online tour operators in Romania. It operates in several markets in Eastern Europe and Turkey.
