Romanian IT firm Zitec plans to boost sales by 20-30% this year

The Romanian IT firm Zitec aims to increase sales by 20-30% this year, from EUR 5 million in 2017, and to increase its staff in Bucharest and Brasov, Zitec’s general manager and co-founder said.

The company’s sales rose by 28% in 2017 and the growth this year is grounded on existing clients and meeting sales plan. In addition, the company has scheduled EUR 100,000 investments in start-ups and plans to access EU funds, local News.ro reported.

Zitec develops personalized IT solutions, services and technological products. It has 162 employees of which 120 in Bucharest, but the team could enlarge by activity expansion in other cities.

Dante International (eMAG) invested EUR 1.7 million in Zitec last year. On top of that, Zitec announced cooperation with the European Space Agency, also in 2017.
