Over 1 million phone numbers transferred to Digi Mobil network in Romania
Over 1 million phone numbers have been transferred to the Digi Mobil mobile phone network in the last three years. The numbers came from other mobile phone operators in Romania.
Digi Mobil, which is part of the telecom group RCS & RDS, owned by the Romanian investor Zoltan Teszari, has thus become the company with most phone numbers received through transfer.
The “attractive commercial offers” and the “significant investments” in the network contributed to the increased number of users, according to Digi Mobil.
The mobile operator has over three million subscribers less than three years after the service was launched. The 3G Digi Mobil network covers 97% of Romania’s population, whereas the 4G network covers 37%.
