Aegon Romania ups gross written premiums by 50%
Life insurer Aegon Romania recorded a total volume of gross written premiums worth EUR 7.6 million in the first nine months of this year, up 50% over the same period last year, amid sales of new policies and the Eureko portfolio takeover.
Traditional insurances represented 75% of the total number of new contracts, while the company's portfolio in Romania has exceeded 40,000 policies.
“The results show that our sales strategy and business optimization model are already producing effects”, said Aegon Romania general manager Sânziana Maioreanu.
