Almost half of Romania's urban schools don’t use electronic devices in teaching
Almost 40% of Romania’s urban schools don’t use electronic devices in the educational process, according to an Epson survey.
However, 90% of the respondents consider the electronic equipment is needed to support teaching in the schools where their children study.
“Starting 2009, public investment declined sharply, although technological novelties are increasingly needed in schools, and the students’ familiarity with such devices requires even more a change in teaching methods,” said Simona Decuseara, Sales & Marketing Manager Epson for Romania and Bulgaria.
About 6 out of 10 respondents believe that including electronic devices in teaching helps students focus better and learn faster, as well as helps them develop technical skills.
