American singer Iyeoka returns to Romania for two gigs this spring

After her performances in Romania last year, American singer Iyeoka returns this spring for two concerts in Bucharest and Constanta.

In Bucharest, the singer will perform at Hard Rock Cafe on April 12, while the gig in Constanta will take place at Doors Club on April 13.

Daughter of Nigerian-born parents, Iyeoka was a pharmacist before launching her career as a poet, singer, activist and educator. She began her musical career by founding the group The Rock by Funk Tribe.

She released her first solo full length album of poem-songs called Black and Blues in 2004, while in 2007, Iyeoka released her second album of poetry and music fusion Hum The Bass Line.

A year later, in 2008, she recorded a live album in Hawaii called Live @ KTUH – Honolulu.

Tickets for the concert in Bucharest cost RON 80 and RON 60 on pre-sale, and RON 90 and RON 70 at the door, on the day of the event.

For the gig in Constanta, tickets can be purchased for RON 60 and RON 40 on pre-sale, and for RON 60 and RON 50 at the door.
