Amway sells EUR 21.6 million of products in Romania
Direct selling company Amway Marketing Romania posted a turnover of EUR 21.66 million last year, down 21 percent on 2009. “The way we are organized on an European level gives us maximum flexibility. This allows us regional stability and to focus on increasing sales again, after having optimized costs and resources,” said George Popescu, branch manager for Amway Marketing Romania.
The company made 26 percent of its turnover from nutritional supplements. It also sells home care products, personal care products, cosmetics, make up products. Worldwide, Amway is part of the giant Alticor. The company was set up in 1959 and currently runs businesses in 80 countries across the globe.
