Angelini Pharmaceuticals takes over CSC Pharmaceuticals Romania’s portfolio

Angelini Pharmaceuticals Romania has taken over CSC Pharmaceuticals’ promotion portfolio, a network with operations in several markets in Central and Eastern Europe, according to the company.

CSC entered an alliance with Angelini in 1995, the two companies becoming strategic partners in 1998. Internationally, Angelini took over CSC Pharmaceuticals in 2007.

Angelini was founded in Italy in 1919 as a family business. Today, Angelini is led by Francesco Angelini, grandson of the founder, and provides pharmaceutical, para-pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and personal hygiene products, distributed in 60 countries. Angelini Romania has 80 employees, and in 2010 recorded a turnover of EUR 19.5 million.
