Apartment prices continue to go up in Romania in April
Apartment prices in Romania’s large cities increased by 1.2% in April compared to the previous month, while the average increase in the last year reached almost 8.8%, according to the data published by the Imobiliare.ro portal yesterday.
Apartment owners demanded an average price of EUR 1,105 per square meter for an apartment in Romania, up 8.8% over the same period last year and up 1.2% over March.
Constanta became the fourth city after Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest, and Timisoara, where the average price per square meter exceeded the threshold of EUR 1,000.
In Bucharest, the demands of apartment owners increased by 2.2% in April compared to the previous month and by 7.1% year-on-year. The apartments in old apartment blocks saw a monthly growth of 1.6% whereas those in new buildings recorded a monthly increase of 2.5%.
