Apartment rents in Bucharest dropped by 14 percent in the first quarter of the year, compared to the same period of 2010, according to an analysis issued by anunturiparticulari.ro. The biggest decrease in rent came for the three-roomed apartments.

Rents had slightly increased in February compared to January this year, but went back down in March. On the other hand, the number of offers for apartments for rent reached a peak this year, with 2,100 offers, according to the website. The average rent for a studio in Bucharest is of EUR 232, similarly to the previous months, but down 11 percent on the level registered in March last year.
