A yet unnamed Swiss company has recently started producing helicopter components at Arad, in Western Romania, and will soon officially inaugurate its new production unit. The Arad mayor Gheorghe Falca announced the investment, but said the investors wanted discretion, so he did not mention their name.

The company, which initially wanted to invest in Timisoara, chose Arad as the authorities offered it conditions to start production immediately. They have a 2,000 sqm production hall and invested several millions of euros, according to the mayor, quoted by Romanian media.
