Arval Romania seeks 24% growth in operational leasing and fleet management business this year

Operational leasing and fleet management company Arval Romania, part of BNP Paribas, expects a turnover of EUR 26 million in 2011, up 24 percent compared to last year, when the company posted a turnover of EUR 21 million.

Arval Romania estimates to manage a fleet of 4,300 cars until the end of 2011, a growth of 22 percent compared to 2010. The company's investments in 2010 amounted to EUR 11 million and this year, the company wants to spend 40 percent more on investments, to about EUR 16 million.

“I expect the leasing market to grow by 20 percent, from 27,000 cars in administration last year”, said Christian Busch, Arval Romania’s General Manager (in picture).

Founded in 1989, Arval is an international company with activities in operational leasing and fleet management. The company started to activate in Romania in late 2006. At the end of 2010, Arval was already managing a fleet of 3,500 vehicles, up 30 percent compared to the end of 2009.
