Athenee Palace Hilton in Bucharest names Chaiyasith Srichom new executive chef
Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest has recently appointed Chaiyasith Srichom (in picture), also known as Lam, to be the hotel’s new executive chef. He is replacing Gabrielle Savini who decided to continue his career with Hilton in another hotel in Europe, according to the hotel.
Born in a village at 700 km north of Bangkok, Chaiyasith Srichom joined the Athenee Palace Hilton in the summer of 2011. He started his career in Verona, and moved to Europe, where he worked in London and Prague. In Pargue, he worked at Maze Prague by Gordon Ramsey being promoted as sous chef. He and his team earned a Michelin Star.
Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest currently has 272 rooms and 11 conference rooms. The hotel posted a turnover of around EUR 11.8 million last year.
