Austrian CA Immo confirms sale of its logistic park in Romania

Austrian group CA Immobilin Anlagen, one of the largest real estate investors in Romania, has officially announced that it will sell a logistic park in Romania. The group is “in final negotiations” with one bidder for the sale of a logistic-portfolio comprising some 46 hectares of lettable area in Poland, Romania and Serbia.

“The assets are currently held in a joint venture between CA Immo and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD),” said the group in a statement, without mentioning the names of the properties.

The only logistic park which CA Immo currently has in Romania is Europolis Logistic Park, which spans on 21.4 hectares in the Western part of Bucharest. The fund holds 65% of the park, which came into its possession after taking over the portfolio of Europolis.

The Romanian media has recently wrote that Czech company PointPark Properties is negotiating the takeover of the logistic park from CA Immo.

The logistic park was valued at EUR 120 million, according to CA Immo’s latest financial report.
