Austrian Salesianer Miettex ups sales from processing textiles in Romania
Austrian company Salesianer Miettex upped turnover by 15 percent in Romania in 2013, compared to the previous year, according to the company, which did not reveal the actual sales figure.
Salesianer Miettex’s factory in Bucharest processes 14 tonnes of textiles per day, the equivalent of over 2,800 household washing machines.
“In the current economic context, increasingly more companies streamline their business through outsourcing services, which resulted in a greater number of orders in 2013 compared to the previous years, both from existing partners and from new ones,” said Victor Ioane, Managing Director CEE Salesianer Miettex.
The company’s factory in Bucharest has an area of 6,500 sqm and employs over 100 people.
Salesianer Miettex was founded in 1916 in Austria and is currently present in seven countries, namely Austria, The Czech Republic, Croatia, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary.
Salesianer plants process 350 tonnes of textiles daily and have over 25,000 customers.
