Auto trade turnover up by 7% in Romania
The car and motorcycle trade turnover increased by 7.3% in the first five months of the year compared to the same period of 2014, according to the National Statistics Institute (INS). The evolution was due to a 17.3% increase in motor vehicle trade.
The turnover on the car maintenance and repair segment went up by 6.5% while motorcycle maintenance and repairs increased by 5%, reports local Mediafax. However, parts and accessories sales went down by 4%.
In May, the auto trade turnover increased by 4% compared to the previous month and by 11.4% year-on-year.
