It is also the first marathon of the Romanian Grand Prix circuit, with the top 25 riders in each category at a distance of 80 km  receiving scores in the national rankings.

There are two tracks: the marathon route for 80 km and an open race route for 50 km. The participation fee is of RON 70 for the marathon and RON 70 for the open race. Starting on Saturday, September 25, 17,00 hours, registration is possible on the spot, where those interested can also do some unofficial training before the race next day.
