The average monthly income totaled last year EUR 210 per person.

Salaries represent the most important source of revenue. They have a 51% share in total household income.

Revenues from social benefits (23.8%), agriculture (3.4%), or independent activities (2.5%) also contribute to income.

Romanians also consume agricultural products from their own resources. These have a 14% in the household income.
